Translator's notes:

(1) “Crack” here signifies a crack from the lover’s composure. The loneliness was usually guarded but it was exposed for that one moment.

(2) Upon first reading, the timeline of the lyrics did not seem to flow. But after discussing with my editor, we decided that it sounded like the “I” in the song got together with his lover as illustrated in the first 4 stanzas. However, in the last stanza, they broke off.
